We are pleased to say that the Association held it’s first physical event earlier this month, a Summer BBQ at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Fareham. The event was attended by 50 of our members and was reported as being a great success. Many told us how wonderful it was to be able to see and talk face to face with others that they had not seen since the lock-down began last year. Our Speaker for the event was Johnny Mercer MP, who gave a frank and honest talk about his work to improve Armed Forces Welfare, something that he obviously feels very passionate about.
